Shri Ajit Mangrulkar is a seasoned management professional with over three decades of experience spanning international trade, investment promotion, business development, finance, administration, and industry engagement. As Director General of the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he plays a pivotal role in advancing the Chamber’s mission of fostering business growth, policy advocacy,entrepreneurship, and economic development across India.
Before joining IMC in 2018, Shri Mangrulkar served for nearly seventeen years with the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) at the Australian Consulate General in Mumbai. During this period, he held several leadership positions, including Regional Manager – Finance &; Administration, South Asia, and later Investment Manager, South Asia, where he focused on attracting foreign direct investment and promoting innovation-driven sectors. Earlier in his career, he held senior marketing responsibilities with a leading automotive ancillary group, gaining extensive exposure to manufacturing and industry operations.
A commerce graduate from University of Mumbai with an Inter-CA qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Shri Mangrulkar is widely respected for his expertise in cross-border trade, investment facilitation, institutional leadership, and stakeholder engagement. Under his
stewardship, IMC has strengthened its role as one of India’s premier chambers of commerce, connecting industry, government, and global business communities to drive sustainable economic growth and competitiveness.
Prof. Ish Anand
Prof. Ish Anand is a globally recognized entrepreneur, investor, board advisor, mentor, keynote speaker, and ecosystem builder with more than 34 years of experience across five continents. Throughout his career, he has worked with leading Indian, transnational, and multinational organizations, evolving from operational and leadership roles into a successful entrepreneur, investor, and strategic advisor.
His professional journey spans diverse sectors including Artificial Intelligence, Private Equity, Real Estate & Infrastructure, Hospitality, Education, IT & ITES, E-Commerce, FinTech, Deep Tech, Blockchain, and the Global Startup Ecosystem. He has successfully founded and scaled multiple ventures, including one that achieved a successful IPO in 2018. Over the years, he has worked on landmark projects with organizations such as Ascendas CapitaLand, Indiabulls Real Estate, Leela Hotels, Inno Group Private Equity etc. among others.
A strong advocate of innovation-driven growth, he has facilitated and syndicated significant debt and equity investments for startups and entrepreneurial ventures, helping businesses accelerate expansion, innovation, and market access. He is the Founder and CEO of Relia Smart Global Advisory (FZE), a UAE-based boutique advisory firm focused on growth, international expansion, innovation, fundraising, governance, and strategic transformation.
He currently serves in several influential international leadership positions. He is the President-Elect of EiC International, Switzerland, with a mandate to drive the organization’s planned IPO by 2028. He is also a Board Member at iCapital Ventures, Canada, and the iCapital Ventures Fund, Luxembourg, while serving on the Global Leadership Team of EST Growmore Fund, Singapore.
Widely respected for his expertise in Board Stewardship and governance, he advises boards, investors, founders, and senior leadership teams on navigating growth, innovation, and organizational transformation. Shri Rabindra Sah is a globally respected technology and engineering leader with over 34 years of experience across automotive, maritime, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing sectors. He currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at the Indian Register of Shipping (IRS), Mumbai,where he is driving large-scale digital transformation initiatives, positioning IRS as a future-ready, technology-driven global classification society.
Prior to this, Rabindra spent more than three decades with Tata Motors and Tata Technologies, where he held the role of Chief Engineer for Strategic and Global Programs. He led end-to-end product engineering, digital manufacturing, PLM, Industry 4.0, and enterprise transformation programs across 200+ global OEMs spanning North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
A pioneer in Virtual Twin, Virtual Engineering, and AI-driven lifecycle systems, Rabindra has led over 200 vehicle design programs and one million plus digital manufacturing projects, including greenfield and brownfield factories, autonomous vehicle development, and sustainable engineering solutions. He is a hands-on leader who has worked extensively across a wide spectrum of engineering technology software and Industry 4.0 elements, bringing
strong practical and real-world implementation experience.
He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Patna, an M.Tech from BITS Pilani, and is pursuing a PhD in Autonomous Vehicles. A passionate mentor and speaker, he has influenced 30,000+ engineers and actively contributes to global technology forums, institutes and startups.
Beyond technology, he is a strong sports man, marathon runner and mountaineer (Everest Base Camp), reflecting a leadership style rooted in discipline, resilience, and purpose.
Dr. Narendra Mairpady
Distinguished Research Fellow, IISD
Dr. M. Narendra Mairpady is a distinguished Indian professional with nearly four decades of experience in the banking and financial services sector. He served as Chairman and Managing Director of Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) from 2010 to 2014, where he led the bank through a period of significant growth, modernization, and expansion, strengthening its domestic and international presence while promoting technology-driven banking and financial inclusion.
Prior to leading IOB, Dr. Narendra served as Executive Director of Bank of India and spent over three decades at Corporation Bank, where he rose from Officer Trainee to Chief General Manager. Throughout his career, he played a pivotal role in credit policy formulation, risk management, business transformation, and strategic growth initiatives. His leadership was instrumental in enhancing organizational performance, strengthening governance frameworks, and driving sustainable business development.
Widely recognized for his strategic vision and people-centric leadership, Dr. Narendra is credited with introducing IOB’s memorable platinum jubilee slogan, “Touching Hearts and Spreading Smiles,” reflecting his commitment to customer service and institutional excellence. Under his stewardship, IOB received several prestigious recognitions, including the National Award for Excellence in MSME Lending.
Following his retirement from executive banking, Dr. Narendra has continued to contribute through board leadership and advisory roles. He serves as an Independent Director on the boards of leading companies, including Ipca Laboratories Limited and Man Industries (India) Limited, and is a Distinguished Research Fellow (ESG & Risk Finance) and Director of the Center for Sustainable Finance at the Indian Institute of Sustainable Development. He is also actively involved in social initiatives through his role on the Board of Vanaprastha Ashram, supporting senior citizen welfare and the education of underprivileged children.
Dr. Narendra holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, an LL.B., and the prestigious CAIIB certification. He has been conferred multiple honorary Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) degrees in recognition of his outstanding contributions to banking, finance, and corporate governance. His distinguished career has earned him numerous accolades, including multiple Skoch Awards, the Lokmat BFSI Award, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Indian Banks’ Association.

He worked in MNC & Private Banks at senior levels with last role as Senior Vice President with HSBC based out of Kolkata.
Shri Pravin is PGDBM – NMIMS, Mumbai, Law Graduate and Post Graduate in Economics. He holds CFP from Securities Institute, Sydney, Diploma in Financial Services (DFS) & CAIIB from Indian Institute of Bankers, besides other BFSI & Security Markets certifications. He is Council Member of All India Management Association (AIMA)- New Delhi, Member of Primary Market Advisory Committee (PMAC) of SEBI and also Vice President of Lucknow Management Association (LMA).
Shri Dwivedi, a financial literacy activist, has delivered his talks at various national and international forums viz. Horasis India Summit, Athens, Greece, Department of Education, Colombo, Sri Lanka besides his views being aired on All India Radio, Door Darshan & print media. His venture AWOKE India Group, a financial literacy, training, education & consulting outfit, was set up in 2012.
